Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Slanvi Browser app (the "app") and to slanvi.com, Slanvi Studio and the Slanvi layout script (together, the "services"), provided by Alpine Manor LLC ("we", "us"). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you get the app from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where the two differ about the app, these terms apply as far as Apple's agreement allows.
Using Slanvi
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app except as the law allows. Slanvi and its logo are trademarks of Alpine Manor LLC.
Websites and other services
Slanvi shows websites that other people run. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products or practices. Your use of a website or search engine is governed by its own terms. Layout features such as Fit to my Duo, Fold Reader, dark mode and ad blocking change only how pages appear on your device. You can switch them off for any site.
Ask Slanvi and AI features
Ask Slanvi and Compare these produce summaries, answers and rankings automatically, using Apple's on-device model and the pages you're viewing. They can be incomplete or wrong, and prices or details may be out of date. Always check the original website before you rely on anything, especially before you buy, sign or make a health, legal or financial decision.
Acceptable use
Don't use the services to break the law, infringe others' rights, attack or overload any website or system, or get around the security of a website. Don't use the Slanvi Studio preview to load pages you don't have the right to access.
Slanvi Studio
If you add the Slanvi layout script to your website, you're responsible for your website and its content. Any paid plans will show their price and terms before you buy. We may change or discontinue the free preview at any time.
Open-source software
The app includes open-source software, such as Mozilla Readability (Apache License 2.0), under its own licenses. You can find these in the app under Settings › Acknowledgements.
No warranty
The services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise they'll be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every website will display correctly.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Alpine Manor LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50 if you paid nothing.
Changes and ending
We may update the services and these terms. If we make a significant change to the terms, we'll update the date above and, where reasonable, tell you in the app. You can stop using the services at any time by deleting the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
